
About CGPS

The Center for Graduate and Professional Studies is the College’s department in charge of planning and delivery of master programs, as well as short, professional and vocational courses. The department also provides consultancy services to corporate clients.
Due to the increased volume of operations, in 2015 the CGPS has split into two individual, yet interconnected units: Department for Graduate Studies (DPS), and Center for Continuing Education and Professional Studies (CCEPS).
From the business world prospective, it's tempting to put off staff training indefinitely, waiting until there is more time or more money. DPS offers Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with two emphasis areas: Finance and Human Resource Management. This program is affiliated to Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio, USA.
CCEPS has established a partnership with IATA’s Training and Development Institute, to focus on the needs of the Air Transport Industry for flexible, high-quality training. The IATA Training and Development Institute is the industry’s global association which has an unparalleled track record in expert training in all critical areas of the aviation business and have extended their professional support in the development of the human capital in the Sultanate of Oman.
CCEPS offers certificate courses in the field of IT and Computer Sciences designed not only to educate the mind but also give hands-on experience. Training programs include internationally recognized IT vendor certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CompTIA, Oracle and Linux etc.
CCEPS e also offer specialized, tailor made, English courses for companies. These courses have come to be recognized as brand name for itself in the industry, as we have proven to be very successful at addressing our client’s specific needs for solid knowledge foundation and necessary soft skills of the modern workforce.

We shall assist you to analyses the current written job description and compare the skills the position requires with your employees' current abilities. Once we understand that there may be gaps will shall help you identify the types of training you need.
PRIORITIZING
We will help you to assign the training programs that are required into categories such as long-term training or short-term training.
PLANING AND DELIVERING TRAINING THAT YOU NEED
Once you have agreed on the type of training or the programs we shall also discuss with you how you wish the training to be delivered. In-house (your premises) or External - at the MCBS campus. These factors will be based on the budget.
