MCBS and its American academic partner organized a seminar and an information session to give an opportunity to those who are considering registering for the MBA Program to get information on admissions and take part in a sample MBA lecture.

In September, five students from the Franklin’s MBA cohort at the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) in Muscat, Oman, visited Franklin’s Main Campus for a four-day visit.

The visit included participation in a number of cultural events, the University’s 147th Commencement at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and concluded with a reception luncheon attended by Franklin leadership, faculty and staff.

Almost 100 people including executives from ministries, government agencies and major companies; entrepreneurs and management students attended a seminar on Business Case Analysis on 9 February at City Seasons Hotel delivered by Dr. Greg Dzwonnik – Franklin University visiting professor. Dr. Greg , gave a thought-provoking presentation on ‘Building Convincing Business Justification for Projects’ focusing on key strategies useful for entrepreneurs and managers to spot best opportunities that can help organizations meet business goals using Business Case Analysis as a tool to weigh multiple alternatives.

The seminar was followed by a Q&A Session. Executives from leading companies including PDO, Royal Oman Police, Public Authority of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transport and Communication, and Omantel among others participated in the seminar which drew to a close with a networking session with host associations.

The Centre for Graduate and Professional Studies (CGPS) at Modern College of Business and Science hosted a first of its kind Women Entrepreneurs’ Conclave on the college premises on 29 September.
