MCBS-MBA Students Visit Franklin University

In September, five students from the Franklin’s MBA cohort at the Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) in Muscat, Oman, visited Franklin’s Main Campus for a four-day visit.
The visit included participation in a number of cultural events, the University’s 147th Commencement at the Greater Columbus Convention Center and concluded with a reception luncheon attended by Franklin leadership, faculty and staff.
During the reception, two of the Omani students expressed their gratitude for having the opportunity to travel to Franklin, as well as the sense of accomplishment they felt for succeeding in such a rigorous prorgam.
The Franklin MBA program was first made available to students at MCBS beginning in the fall term of 2010. Classes are held on MCBS’ campus in Muscat, the country’s capital, largest city, and seat of government.
The MCBS in the Sultanate of Oman is a private college accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education. It was established in 1996, and offers associate and bachelor degrees, primarily in business administration and computer science. The Franklin MBA is the first graduate program offered by the college.
